N.C.E.A. Award Winning School Board

 
In 2001, the school board received the "Outstanding School Board Award" at the National Association of Boards and Commissions for the Councils of Catholic Education convention located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Board's dedication and commitment to academic excellence and hands-on-approach to encouraging Christian values was a big reason for being the recipient of the award.

 

A board of education composed of four appointed, four elected, and four ex officio members meet monthly.  This board makes policy and provides input to the Pastor and Principal in regard to matters concerning the school.

It was established with accord with diocesan policy to assist the pastor and principal in the governance of the parish school.  The board is consultative.  Parents and other interested parishioners are welcome to attend board meetings to observe the proceedings.
