Instructional Technology

Mr. McCurry is a proud product of a catholic education.  He attended catholic schools for 13 years beginning at John F. Kennedy Catholic School (K-8) and graduating from Bishop Canevin Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2003. Mr. McCurry is also a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor of arts degree in information technology. Focused and determined to obtain higher degrees in his area of study, Mr. McCurry enrolled at Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit in Pittsburgh, where he graduated with a master degree in leadership and information technology and with additional coursework in instructional technology.

A professional internship at Disney brought Mr. McCurry to central Florida. At the conclusion of the internship, he decided to call Florida home. He was offered a position at Discovery Intermediate School where he thought math and various electives.

To satisfy his Florida teaching certification requirements, Mr. McCurry completed classes in classroom instruction at the University of Central Florida.

After seven years in public education, Mr. McCurry decided to return to his roots in Catholic Education.

Mr. McCurry is an active member of his faith community at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration and is an active member of his local Knights of Columbus Chapter. In his free time, he enjoys visiting local amusement parks, participating in a variety of service projects, and watching movies. Mr McCurry also has several hobbies including model railroading, serving as a DJ for charitable events, and building commemorative photo slideshows.
