Monday, Feb. 1: Celebrate our Community

  • Zoom Morning Assembly to Kick-Off Catholic Schools Week
  • Campus Clean-Up 8:15am-8:45am—all students may wear PE uniform
  • Religion Classes: make cards for Community Helpers
    • VPK and Kindergarten: Firefighters
    • 1st and 2nd: Law Enforcement
    • 3rd and 4th: Health Care Workers
    • 5th: EMT
    • Middle School: your choice of the above

Tuesday, Feb. 2: Celebrate our Students

  • Student breakfast-supplied by school (doughnuts and milk/juice)
  • Student and staff dress down day—favorite sports team shirt or jersey
  • Extra Recess (at teacher discretion)
  • Middle School will have 30 minute recess during the day at the discretion of their homeroom teacher

Wednesday, Feb. 3: Celebrate our Nation

  • All School Mass at 10:00am with blessing of the throats
  • Students and staff wear red, white, and blue accessories (hairbows, headbands, tie, socks, belt, etc.) in addition to mass uniform
  • Create Military Care Packages—please bring in items before Feb. 1
    • VPK and Kindergarten: Chapstick
    • 1st: travel size hand sanitizer
    • 2nd: travel size deodorant
    • 3rd: travel size wet wipes
    • 4th: playing cards
    • 5th: beef jerky
    • 6th: granola bars (no chocolate)
    • 7th: hard candy
    • 8th: gum

Thursday, Feb. 4: Celebrate Vocations

  • Student and staff dress-down day–-wear SPCS colors of blue and gold
  • Morning Announcements: Honoring Sister Mary for her vocation
  • Ice-Cream Social with Fathers Martin, Mark, and Gianni
  • Create thank you cards for the feeder parish Priests
    • VPK and Kindergarten: St. Paul
    • 1st and 2nd: St. Timothy
    • 3rd and 4th: Blessed Sacrament
    • 5th: St. Patrick
    • 6th: St. Mary of the Lakes
    • 7th: St. Vincent de Paul
    • 8th: St. Mark the Evangelist

 

Friday, Feb. 5: Celebrate our SPCS Faculty and Staff

  • Students and Staff dress-down day–-any SPCS shirt
  • Video: “Why we love Catholic Schools”
  • Faculty Luncheon (provided by our PTO)
  • Students write a thank you to their parents for providing them a Catholic education
