A. Tuition PolIcy
TUITION POLICY
St. Paul’s Catholic School
The 2010-2011 tuition is $4400 for Catholics registered and participating in a parish and $5065 for all others. Tuition may be paid annually, quarterly or monthly. It is the responsibility of each family to keep the school principal informed of their need to make any changes in their preferred tuition payment plan. Quarterly and monthly payments require a SMART Tuition Management Services Payment Agreement.
Registration, Instructional and Graduation fees must be paid to the school on or before July 1. Books will not be issued unless all fees are paid.
TUITION DELINQUENCY
School families failing to pay tuition according to their agreement without making suitable alternative arrangements may have their students suspended until financial obligations are met. In some cases, students may not receive report cards and permanent records may not be released by the school administration.
FINANCIAL AID
Families who are unable to pay the full tuition may apply for financial aid by completing an application with FACTS at www.factstuitionaid.com. Please apply no later than April 1 in order to allow adequate processing time. Submitting an application does not guarantee financial assistance.
St. Paul’s School also accepts Step Up for Students Scholarships, an income based scholarship, and McKay Scholarships for students with disabilities (IEP). Please see the bookkeeper for further information regarding these options.
TUITION REFUNDS
Families who withdraw students after the first day of school will have tuition prorated over the number of school weeks the student was in attendance according to a formula established by the school administration.
Choose a payment option:
___Option 1: Full payment to St. Paul’s School - The entire amount of tuition is paid directly to the school on or before August 1. A discount of 2% will be applied for each student enrolled.
___Option 2: Monthly payment to SMART - The entire amount of tuition is paid monthly over a ten month period beginning in August and ending in May.
___Option 3: Quarterly payment to SMART - The entire amount of tuition is paid in four equal payments in August, November, February and May.
Please complete the SMART enrollment form and return to the bookkeeper by June 1st.

B. Registration Fees
Due with registration forms (Non-Refundable):
- One Child........................$165.00 + $12.00 diocesan fee = $177.00
- Two Children...................$230.00 + $24.00 diocesan fee = $254.00
- Three or more Children.....$345.00 + $12.00 diocesan fee per child = $381.00+
There is no diocesan fee for Pre-K children.
C. Tuition
The tuition rates quoted below are per year and are are payable to St. Paul's School through Smart Tuition. Tuition may be paid monthly or quarterly on specified due dates and may be made by check, credit card or through direct charge to checking or credit card. Smart Tuition will charge a #35.00 set up fee on the first month.
Families making a one time full payment will pay directly to the school and will receive a 2% discount. The cash or check payment must be received no later than August 1.

D. Other Fees
Fees are to be paid in full on or before July 1. Books will not be issued if fees have not been paid.

E. Entrance REQUIREMENTS
St. Paul's adheres to entrance requirements as stipulated by the State of Florida. We must have the below listed documents before the first day of school.
- Birth Certificate
- Shot record
- Physical form from doctor
- Social Security Number
- Baptism Record (optional)
Pre-kindergarten - Students must be 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the school year.
Kindergarten - Students must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 of the school year.

F. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Catholic Tuition Rate:
Catholic Parishioners who meet all the following requirements may request a Catholic rate:
1. Registered in parish (with a family number) for one year.
2. Attend Mass regularly
3. Support your parish by using the envelope system (Parish records are reviewed quarterly.)
4. Approval by Pastor/Finance Committee (Interview with Finance Committee may be required.)
Note: Members of parishes other than St. Paul’s must complete the application and return it to St. Paul’s School office. It will then be forwarded to the appropriate parish for approval.
