Halloween Fun Run

On Saturday, October 29th, St. Paul’s Catholic School in Leesburg had its first Halloween Fun Run in honor of World Run Day.  It was a way to get active with friends to promote healthy lifestyles.  The event was free and open to the school and parish.  Participants were encouraged to “get active”—running or walking the track, dancing, playing games, or even hula-hooping.  All concessions were healthy, like fresh fruit, granola bars, and water.

“I enjoyed having fun while still getting exercise.  I’m looking forward to next year!” said Hannah, an 8th grader at the school.
