On Sunday, January 22nd, Bishop John Noonan celebrated a special mass to commemorate St. Paul’s School’s 50th year.  Student attendance was great with many students participating as cantors, choir members, altar servers, readers, and greeters.  Bishop Noonan gave a beautiful homily about the importance of Catholic schools.  He emphasized the importance of a Catholic education and the need for it in our society today.  A special anniversary video was produced by the school, highlighting St. Paul’s 50 years of growth.  It can be seen on the school website (www.saintpaulschool.com) or on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMWXdFame_E&feature=youtube_gdata_player).  A special brunch with the bishop was held following the service, with ticket proceeds benefiting the school.
